Cecil White Reservoir

Cecil White Reservoir is a quaint lake in a rural area not far from the downtown area of Little Rock, Arkansas.

The lake is 20 minutes from the Arkansas Heart Hospital and half an hour from Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport.

There are public schools in the area and the lake is right across the street from Lawson Elementary School.

For a more exciting adventure, residents of Cecil White Reservoir can travel due north from the park is the Carter Off-Road Park, which is open 24/7 all year long. The 1,000-acres with trails, hill climbs, obstacle course, and more was founded in 2014 as a place for motorists to enjoy safely.

For a break from the calm atmosphere of the Cecil White Reservoir lakeside, residents can travel to Little Rock, the state capital and largest city.

Little Rock’s River Market District provides a vibrant nightlife with concerts, live theater, sports bars, and more. The district is in the downtown area.

Little Rock is also home to several breweries, wineries, and even one distillery, Rock Town, Arkansas’ first legal distillery since prohibition. Rock Town offers tours and tasting.

If children are in your company, you can take them to the Little Rock Zoo, which has over 500 animals and over 200 different species.

Performing arts fans may enjoy the Robinson Center premiers traveling Broadway shows, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, as well as performing artists and conditioners.
